October - Porter's Poker Palace

A small but dedicated team arrived to make it a 6 handed game. Despite the home field advantage JP had a miserable outing busting first in both games. Strong finishing from both Alan and Mike did no harm to their league scores and a solid win for Tommy cemented his position at the top of the table. Chris has now won the Game 2 trophy twice in a row so is looking to clinch it on November 9th when we have the last league games of the season.

As you can see the league has really closed up with all to play for in the final 2 games, Tommy is looking safe but with only a few points separating 2nd (JD) and joint 3rd (Alan & JP) with Mike and Gordon still in with a shout, posistions are there to be grabbed.

I have added an adjusted column at the end which shows points after the 4 lowest games have been taken off.

September - Muir's Mansion of Poker

An outstanding turnout boosted by a few guest players meant a full table for the September meeting.

After an excellent goulash courtesy of Mr Muir the cards were dealt and the game proceeded.

An astonishing run good by Alan saw him amass a massive chip lead early in the game which he used to great effect. Rumours of child sacrifice and a complete absence of cats around the Marina Road area of Prestwick have remained unfounded.

Game 2 started with Alan continuing to run good but his luck turned and Chris began to amass a healthy stack which he then turned into a convincing win.

Tommy continues to stretch his lead at the head of the table and it looks like it's going to go right to the wire as we approach the last quarter.
